It's a Bird! It's a Plane!

As a lover of words, I was stunned to find myself nearly speechless this morning after watching the space shuttle Endeavour fly over my hometown. Sacramentans came out in droves to take in the spectacle. It was a beautiful sight.

The shuttle made two passes over downtown Sacramento and then, just as quickly as it had appeared, it moved on to its next destination.

I can't lie to you, my friends...I think this experience just made my day.
