Tell Me: What Are You Reading? (The Magazine Edition)

Alright, friends: let's discuss magazines for a moment. While I love glossy publications like Sunset, Sactown, Real Simple and the occasional Martha Stewart Living, I've been drawn to independent magazines more and more over the last several years. There are so many beautiful publications sharing stories in creative ways. Can we all raise a glass to the survival of print?!

Here are just a handful of recent favorites:

Weekend Almanac // "What Are You Reading: The Magazine Edition" - jenniferesnyder.com/blog

I couldn't wait to snag a copy of the first volume when it came out and I've already got the second volume on pre-order. If you're looking for a delightful celebration of the joy found at the weekend, you should definitely get a copy for yourself.

Hearth Magazine // "What Are You Reading: The Magazine Edition" - jenniferesnyder.com/blog

As a Kickstarter backer, I received the first two volumes of Hearth Magazine. I was so excited to get them in the mail as both are full of beautiful imagery and stories. You can find both in their shop and Vol. 3 comes out at the end of this month!

Another Escape // "What Are You Reading: The Magazine Edition" - jenniferesnyder.com/blog

Another Escape is a fantastic independent publication focusing on creativity, exploration and life's journeys. I can't quite remember how I came to find the magazine, but I'm very glad I did! Vol. 1 is a worthwhile read and Vol. 2 is now available.

I can't wait to get some recommendations from you all!

Please note: I was not compensated in any way for these recommendations. I just have a soft spot for beautifully-told stories and inspiring imagery.
