Photo Essay: Seattle's Museum of Flight

Sometimes it's fun to be a bit nerdy. Don't you think? My husband suggested the Museum of Flight when we were deciding to what to see in Seattle this summer and after quickly looking at the brochure I said, "Let's do it!"

It turned out to be such a great way to spend the morning. Here are a few photos I couldn't help snapping while playing tourist:

And yes, you can walk inside the old Air Force One and Concorde they have on-site. Pretty neat, right? I highly recommend going if you're at all interested in aviation history or if you simply marvel at our ability to step inside a metal tube and hurl ourselves through the sky. Honestly, the ingenuity of it all is what really interests me. We humans have come up with some incredible ideas and inventions over the years, but flight has to be the one of the most awe-inspiring.

p.s. One day in Victoria, BC, hitting up Seattle's tourist spots and some love for the Pacific Northwest.
